Notes (writing in 2014):
- Made it to a full top 10 in year 2...
- My absolute favourite album of 2001 is Poor Rich Ones' Happy Happy Happy - it remains one of my favourite albums ever, but I bought it in the first week of January 2002, so it didn't make this list. Another notable 2001 absentee, which was not bought until 2003, is Origin of Symmetry by Muse.
- Overall, this strikes me as a much more credible list than the 2000 one!
